Megan Michalec - AP US History/ Dual Credit US History
Welcome to AP U.S. History & Dual Credit U.S. History!
In this class, we’ll dive into the story of the United States—from its earliest beginnings to the present—exploring the people, ideas, conflicts, and changes that have shaped the nation. You’ll learn to think like a historian by analyzing primary and secondary sources, building strong arguments, and making connections across time periods.
AP U.S. History is designed to challenge you with college-level expectations, preparing you for the AP Exam in May. Dual Credit U.S. History offers the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit through in-depth study and college-style coursework.
Whether your goal is to earn college credit, strengthen your analytical skills, or simply gain a deeper understanding of the American past, this course will push you to think critically, ask questions, and see history as more than just dates and facts—it’s the ongoing story of us.
